Sadly, several bands called it quits or went on the dreaded “indefinite hiatus” this year. Thrice and Sent By Ravens are both taking a breather and Underoath is heading out one final time for a farewell tour this January.

Also, Jason Dunn, long-time vocalist of Hawk Nelson stepped down from the band to pursue solo music. Jonathan Steingard, guitarist, has stepped up as vocalist and the band is releasing the album Made on April 2nd. Lacey Sturm also parted ways with Flyleaf after holding down the vocals for over a decade. Flyleaf released New Horizons, their last album with Sturm, earlier this year and Kristen Mae was named the new vocalist.
