Abandon Kansas is in the studio working on a brand new album and we recently caught up with vocalist Jeremy Spring about the new project.

“Some of these songs we’ve been working on for two or three years. It’s a huge concept album; just this epic, sort of grandiose story, of a character we came up with.  Some of the sound clips that are going in between songs, and just some of the experimentation we’re doing on this album, I’m really stoked. Big hip hop influence on us this year. Some of the stuff we’re coming out with, man, I would have never thought we would do but we love it. So, we’re putting everything on this, and to be totally transparent with you, this EP is a complete gamble for us. Like, if things don’t go well with these songs coming out this summer then Abandon Kansas doesn’t go onwards. So, we’re definitely pushing more chips in on this one.”
