The making of this record has been an unpredictably challenging, exhausting, and beautiful journey full of some of our highest highs and some of our lowest lows. Every song that we wrote for this record was a trial (and that’s a waaaaay longer list than the 12 that made the record). We walked into the studio with nothing and put ourselves in a position to fail each day. Creating art that is honest and sincere is terrifying and takes courage. Yet somehow it is incredibly fulfilling. For us, it’s worth every second guess, every sleepless night, and every frustrating creative dead-end…and ultimately, it’s worth it to get to share music with you that resonates with your story. In the end, it’s worth it if you can have one of these songs to call your own.
