August Burns Red + Miley Cyrus = ?

Plus, Come Wind announces new two-song release, Fit For A King and Gideon drop new records and Playdough and Heath freestyle on the road.

August Burns Red will be covering “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus for Punk Goes Pop: Volume 6. We’re not even sure ABR can save that one, but we’ll find out November 17th.

Come Wind will be releasing a two-song digital EP on October 28th called Come & Go. One of the songs will also be included on a full length album that the band hopes to have out in 2015.

Fit For A King’s new album Slave To Nothing is out today, and you can stream the whole album before you purchase it.

Gideon’s album Calloused is also out today on Facedown Records. Snag both albums from the shop page.

Yesterday was Columbus Day, and Playdough and Heath McNease celebrated by posting a short freestyle from inside their ride on the Fall Freestyle Tour. Heath is of course wearing a very stylish RadioU supporter’s beach-hoodie.

ABR can nail this one. They’ve nailed a Britney Spears song before.

Fit For a King’s album was awesome.

Agreed; that Spears cover was actually kinda enjoyable. IMO, Slave to Nothing could be one of the best albums this year.
