Blurryface soaring toward #1?

Plus Matty Mullins’ Father’s Day tribute, smoke and mirrors from The Ongoing Concept, the Monster Aftershock fest, and Dustin Kensrue’s interview…

The release of twenty one pilots‘ new album Blurryface is shaping up to be huge. Billboard estimates that it will end its first week of sales at or near the top of their Top 200 album sales chart. That’s a major step up, as their debut major label release Vessel peaked at #58.

Just in time for father’s day, Matty Mullins posted a video of himself, his brother, and his Dad — that’s Mr. Mullins to you and me — performing an acoustic rendition of a classic song. He couldn’t just buy his dad a tie and not make us all look bad.

There is a new music video from The Ongoing Concept for the song “Unwanted.” The video has no tricks in it — it is literally all smoke and mirrors — and is awesome.

RadioU artists will be in NorCal this fall for the Monster Aftershock festival. P.O.D. and Beartooth have been added to the huge event.

Dustin Kensrue was interviewed and gave a special acoustic performance for ”Carry The Fire,” and he spoke on the difficulties of life on the road.
