Family Force 5 has made a big announcement regarding their band lineup. They’ve decided to change their name to Family Force 6 to accommodate their brand new tambourinist, who goes by the name of Crunkelstilstkin.

After releasing their new album Extremist last week to huge success, Demon Hunter has followed that up with another new album called Subdued. It’s a soft rock album in the style of Barry Manilow.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have toured the world, and now have a chance to go to the next level. They’ll be hitching a ride on the next Virgin Galactic flight to the moon, and will play the worlds first zero-gravity show from orbit.

Despite repeated warnings by the UN Security Council, Switchfoot has annexed the Ukraine. Frontman Jon Foreman said, “I wanted to beat Putin to it, and I’m looking forward to surfing in the Black Sea.“

Children 18:3 and Anberlin are both calling it quits this year, but they have a new project in the works. The bands are merging to form ChildrenBerlin, a new animated musical program on Nick Jr. set in pre-World War 1 Germany.
