The Riot is back after a long holiday weekend. Were they rest, refreshed, and ready to go? No. The show contained the usual whining about not sleeping enough but there were a few gems:
Remember last week when Fever Fever joined the Riot? (If you missed it, listen here.) We spent a chunk of time talking about an amazing BBQ place inside a gas station in Kansas City. Turns out, they knew what they were talking about. TripAdvisor just named their BBQ place the second best BBQ joint in the US!
The Riot Food Fight this morning featured Mountain Dew Dewshine. Turns out that before Mt. Dew became the late-night power supply that we all know and love, it was actually meant as nothing more than an “additive” to whiskey. Dewshine is non-alcoholic and is in stores for a limited time. Our verdict? Tastes like Sprite.
Finally, something the Riot didn’t agree on: A Very Murray Christmas. Netflix is going to have a Christmas special starring Bill Murray. In a bit of a role reversal, Obadiah is on board and Nikki is out. Trailer is here:
